Teacher Resources
Nationwide teachers spend $750 on the average from their own pocket and paycheck to buy supplies for students who do not have means to do so. ICFGM teacher support fund provides grants to Shelby county teachers to buy supplies. It is expected that ICFGM teacher support fund will help 20 teachers with $250 grant for 2023/2024 school year.
Mentoring
With the increasing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) focus, ICFGM has supported various initiatives to engage kids. Recently, we supported the Museum of Science & History (MoSH) - formerly Pink Palace Museum) for a STEM focussed exhibit and fair, which was attended by many local schools. In years past, ICFGM was actively involved with the FIRST Lego robotics programs at local elementary schools.
