Clean Up Crew
Volunteers from the Indian Community have helped at multiple clean up events at Shelby Farms and other recreational parks to keep our parks clean, appealing and safe. The youth in the community have found these activities to be meaningful and relevant and participate with enthusiasm. These recurring spring time activities are a great way to commune with nature and will continue to inspire volunteerism within the Indian community.
Wolf River Conservancy and Tree Planting
Over the years, ICFGM has partnered with Wolf River Conservancy to promote environmental sustainability and development through grants provided for the annual tree planting events. In addition, volunteers from the Indian Community have showed up at the tree planting events to help. WRC has also been a recipient of a grant at the annual ICFGM Diwali Gala to support its vision of a greener planet!
